Root Canal Treatment

Root Canal

If a cavity has aged and deepened in the roots, a Root Canal Treatment may be suggested to save the tooth from further damage and avoid extraction. During a Root Canal Treatment, treating Dentist prepares the tooth and extracts the infection out of canals. Once the canals are infection-free, the Dentist then fills in with artificial nerve and a filling on top. This treatment is usually performed in 2 to 3 visits. A crown is always recommended on a Root Canal treated tooth to protect the tooth from breakage and keep it longer lasting in the mouth.

Crown

A crown is a tooth-colored porcelain cover for the tooth. A crown gives strength to a weak tooth structure. A crown is also way to prevent frequent chipping of front teeth and give them a polished, strong and natural look. A crown can last a very long time.

Bridge

Bridge 350

A bridge can be used to replace a missing tooth in the mouth if there’s not enough bone to hold an Implant. A Bridge uses support from patient’s original teeth and rests in patient’s mouth permanently. Special daily care is required to keep the Bridge clean and mouth healthy. You don’t remove the Bridge for daily care and it can last a very long time.

Implants

An Implant is one of the best option by far to replace missing teeth as it’s more comfortable and in many cases long lasting than any other treatment of such sort. Implant does not require the support from adjacent teeth. It is an artificial tooth root made of titanium metal, which is inserted into the jaw bone and a replacement tooth is attached to it. Patient needs to be examined to see if he or she qualifies for Implant surgery. Implants tend to be long lasting.

Orthodontics

(silver/metal & clear braces)

Braces Orthodontics

Irregularly aligned teeth collect more plaque where straight teeth are easier to clean and maintain good oral hygiene. Mal-aligned, crooked, crowded or extra spacing teeth can be corrected with braces. During braces, treating Dentist uses wires and elastics to put gentle pressure on your teeth and slowly shift your teeth into the desired position. Braces are worn over a period of 2-3 years approximately in most cases.

Invisalign

Invisalign are like “invisible” braces that are virtually undetected in mouth. They are more comfortable and convenient than traditional metal braces. Invisaligns are made with advanced 3D computer graphics technology. It is a modern way to straighten crooked, uneven teeth without the use of wires and braces. Invisalign is a series of clear, removable, plastic aligners that are custom made for each patient. It is easier to maintain good oral health while undergoing Invisalign treatment. An examination and consultation is required to see if you qualify for Invisalign treatment in order to have perfect, aligned teeth.

In those scenarios, denture remains an affordable option for clients to replace missing teeth. Dentures may need replacement every few years although sometime they do last a longer period of time.

Sealants

Sealants

Deep grooves in your child’s teeth make them more prone to food sticking in their teeth and producing cavities. To avoid this situation, sealants can be placed on your child’s back teeth. During sealants, hygienist places tooth colored material to fill the deep grooves in teeth so there’s less chances of food particles getting stuck and creating cavities.

Whitening

Diet such as coffee, cola, tea, wine and some other foods can stain your teeth over a period of time. Whitening is a method in which an appropriate bleaching agent is added to give you a white brighter smile. It is a safe procedure and can usually be done in one dental sitting. Whitening can help bring the teeth to few shades lighter to give you a whiter, healthier looking smile. In many cases, whitening lasts for 2-3 years.

Gum treatment

(flap surgery / gingivectomy)

Gum treatment flap surgery / gingivectomy

Gingival flap surgery is a type of gum procedure. The gums are folded back temporarily to separate them from teeth in order for the dentist to reach the root of the tooth and the bone. Gingival flap surgery is used to treat gum disease (periodontitis). Usually, a treatment of scaling and root planning is done first to avoid flap surgery. If root planning and scaling is not able to eliminate the gum infection, gingival flap surgery may be the option for you.
